Applying for a student visa to the United States by taking the following steps:

1. Apply to colleges authorised by SEVP: Prior to preparing to study in the United States, you must first get admission from a U.S. institution through the Student and Exchange Visitor Programme at least six months in advance.
2. Get an I-20 or DS-160 form: The SEVP-certified institution will issue you with an I-20 or DS-160 form when you are approved. This form is required for your application for a student visa to the United States.
